Brussels, October 17, 2018 - Altares Dun & Bradstreet is introducing 'Trade Market Intelligence', a tool that allows clients to gain insight into companies' international trade (imports and exports). With the addition of these detailed trade flows to Altares D&B's current database, companies can better map prospects and suppliers in 'global trade' and identify and mitigate risks in international supply chains in a more targeted way. Altares D&B enables companies to map out the international market in a more targeted way. The organization is thus taking a major step forward in its mission to help companies turn data into a strategic weapon.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

International Trade<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

With data on the international trade of companies, it is possible to gain insight into the type and quantity of goods imported and\/or exported. Moreover, foreign investments (local activities of multinationals) become more transparent. In combination with the data already offered on financial health, family structure, sector classification, bankruptcy score and payment behaviour (Paydex score), Altares D&B customers will from now on have a broader picture of prospects, partners, suppliers and other cooperation partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Government<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The government also benefits from broadening the trade picture when awarding programs to stimulate the economy. It gains concrete insights into the relationship between export activities and the health of business. The European Commission is also using this new Tade Market Intelligence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
