For Dreamcatch, it is essential to conduct corporate fundraising as efficiently as possible. This is because it is crucial to approach businesses of the right size that align with the mission of nonprofit organizations. This challenge was compounded by the fact that Dreamcatch relies on cold acquisition and then originally with non-current data sources.
This often led to contact with organizations that were not a match for the non-profits. These included non-existent companies, individuals who had long left the organization in question and financially unsound organizations. Dreamcatch also wanted to filter suitable partnership opportunities for their clients, as some brands did not want to associate with others due to image issues or fundamental differences in values. For example, the Heart Foundation does not want to enter into a business relationship with a company from the tobacco or alcohol industry. Moreover, non-profits are only allowed to use 20 percent of their budget for fundraising, which makes generating the right leads hugely important, because you want to get a bite as soon as possible.

This gives the agency access to intelligent and up-to-date data. The advanced data analysis and visualization tool provides Dreamcatch with deep insight into potential business supporters for their nonprofit clients.
Dreamcatch now has access to more than 265 current data elements through the Altares Dun & Bradstreet platform, making it easier to select the right audiences for the various clients they work with.
The tool also provides capabilities for easy selection, segmentation, visual analysis, data mining, rich campaign data and geo-analysis. This also ensures, for example, that subscriptions with the same address and phone number are singled out. This allows Dreamcatch to avoid calling five companies, all of which ultimately turn out to be one.
