Rotterdam, September 28, 2018 - Altares Dun & Bradstreet, international provider of business data, today announces the acquisition of Invoxis. This French startup specializes in the optimization and visualization of data for the benefit of know your customer (KYC) processes.

Paris-based Invoxis was founded in 2013 and has 12 employees. It uses the latest technology in text mining and data visualization to help clients automate their KYC processes. Invoxis' Natural Language Processing (NLP) technology enables the collection and analysis of structured and unstructured data from various sources, such as information from newspapers, internet publications, social media, websites and corporate databases. This contributes to more efficient KYC and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) processes.

"We live in a time when big data is becoming an operational reality. This acquisition fits perfectly with our strategy to perpetuate our leadership position in the data intelligence market," said Patrice Ceccaldi, Altares' chief executive officer. "In this world of ever-changing technology, we collect, analyze and structure data to transform it into business intelligence that can be flexibly deployed as an input to senior and operational managers' decision-making. In doing so, we help our clients transform their data into a pillar of growth."

"By joining forces with Invoxis, we are boosting our capacity for innovation. With the acquisition of their unique and highly advanced technologies, we can quickly deliver new information delivery solutions that add powerful value to businesses. We will also expand our team with experts in language analysis and compliance. And our collaboration will soon bear fruit. For example, on October 2, we will introduce IndueDâ„¢. This is a new cloud platform for due diligence that Altares and Invoxis have developed together. And that's just the first of our joint innovations!"

"We are delighted to join the Altares Group," said Pierre Quintard, Invoxis' executive director. "With this, we are ushering in a new phase in the development of our company. We are tremendously excited about the opportunities that Altares offers us to bring our technology and know-how to a broader market. Altares' reputation, data assets and marketing organization are rock solid. They enable us to deliver the innovative competitive intelligence and risk analysis solutions the market demands."
